Learning to sailwas just the beginning. We are lovers of the ocean and desire to travel full-time via SV Lost Loon. She is a 40 foot Caliber LRC. we acquired her in the Summer of 2015 from a couple who had taken excellent care of her. She has been through the Caribbean, fully ready to continue her travels with us aboard. We are Mike and Nancy Magnine. We currently reside in northern Minnesota in the summer months. We quit our jobs and have made time to sail away from the cold winter months.

We have loved being on the water all our lives. We enjoy the outdoors in all seasons (meaning when the water is a solid as well). Mike is an avid freshwater fisherman and looks forward to using his experience in a saltwater environment. He is an excellent systems manager (this means he can fix most anything).  I enjoy cooking, yoga, and writing.  We have prepared ourselves with ASA sailing courses, charted numerous times in the Virgin Islands, and sailed with some experienced sailors in preparation for full-time cruising.
